John Nabney
For many years I took photos to record aspects of my work on the improvement of technologies to improve food supplies in developing countries. Of course there were also the holiday pictures as well, but it was only when I retired that I set about more serious photography, starting with an excellent and inspiratoinal City&Guilds course which taught all the basics and much besides. I followed this up with an MA at Westminster University to try to develop an approach based on Critical Theory to my image making.
My interests currently lie in travel photography, especially of archaelogical sites, street photography and Alternative Photography, especially Cyanotype, Kalitype and Temperaprints.
